Also during that dining experience, I saw him yell at his employees in front of customers. I saw him berate a customer over a meal and even lie about the cut of steak my friend ordered. The chef seems not to like criticism of his food. Went to this place a few weeks ago and didn't believe what I saw and heard. We didn’t feel respected and for that reason will not return. Honestly, Chef Nate needs to respect his customers and not ask them to do something in favor of another patron. We decided going back wasn’t in our future. I would have given this review a 4, but 2.5 to 3 is my final rating. We wanted to enjoy the balance of our evening without having to move for patrons who were impatient and wanted our table. He was very gracious by offering us free drinks or appetizers, which wasn’t what we wanted. We thought to ourselves, how rude and disrespectful. He basically disregarded our reservation in favor of his friends or family. We believe the owner (not quite certain) asked us if we would not mind moving to the bar area to finish our desert, champagne and coffee, because he promised our table to another reservation. Now here’s where the evening got disappointing. We also had a complimentary glass of champagne, which was a wonderful touch. I ordered the tiramisu only to discover it was not available! We had the vanilla and chocolate cake which was quite good. We also had a choice of several desserts. The Filet Mignon was prepared perfectly as was the seafood pasta entree. The appetizers were mediocre (escargot and Maryland crab cakes very basic nothing outstanding) as was the Cesar and House salad. We secured a reservation and discovered a price fixe (4 choices) menu, which was ok, I had my heart set on ordering the beef tornadoes, but it worked out. We decided to try Chef Nate’s for our New Years Eve dinner celebration.
